Cool, little businesses to give your layout some local flavor

Note:  Please excuse my inactivity.  I have been swamped a bit with life and I am doing a little soul searching on the layout.  For some reason, my research of late has been focussed on the Northern Pacific in the arid West of 1969 of all things!

I don’t model eastern Maryland, but if I did or another corn growing region, I’d think about modeling this sweet little business.  It just reeks of all that is right about America.  I found this little jewel the other day not far from the Delaware State line.


Strictly on the honor system–$4  a dozen.  Just pick it out and put your money in the box.


Don’t get much simpler.  Here is a customer!
