The Marathon team track (in HO scale)

In response to yesterday’s post, a friend of mine provided these photos of his team track operation set in a town he calls Marathon in the early 1990s.  As you can see, his team track sees a wide variety of shipments, ranging from pipe, building materials, lumber, aggregates, etc.

Looks like a pipeline is coming in near Marathon.

A load of aggregates will be unloaded once the truck arrives.

A team track is a great way to let a modeller have a wide variety of freight operations on one track with little to no space-consuming structural requirements.
